Workforce Training & Development Track: Designed to cultivate a new generation of compelling career and workforce training leaders, this track gives you the tools to seamlessly transfer your industry knowledge to adult learners. In addition to the Career and Technical Education core course requirements, students will also take two Upper Division Electives in Workforce Training and Development Fundamentals and Workforce Training and Development Instructional Planning.
With a master’s in career and workforce education, you’ll guide and inspire students, instructors and administrators to learn at deeper levels. Upon completing this program, you’ll unleash your full potential as a highly effective Career and Workforce Education teacher, trainer or administrator who creates a positive, lasting impact on the lives and careers of your students.
With a graduate certificate in Leadership in Workforce Development, you’ll design and implement the training curriculum needed to improve the skills for current employees or prospective job applicants. This UCF Online program will equip industry and training experts alike to develop professional training across any sector and setting, including corporations, military, and professional organizations and more. Careers in workforce development include business and corporate training, HR development, and training consultation.
The Local Director of Career and Technical Education Graduate Certificate is an online, short-term program of study that focuses on career and technical education administration, supervision, and management competencies. This graduate certificate will enhance your leadership skills to improve the quality of CTE instruction through effective program management.
A $110,000 grant will help prepare middle school career and workforce education teachers to incorporate exploration of space careers into curriculum in their classrooms. More »
